Module 'Electrical Installations, Energy Systems and Substinations'Electrical Engineering 2015/2016
21 ECTS credits Objective: provide in-depth knowledge of energy technology and automation. Learning outcomes: student - recognizes the energy and its various components, substations and electricity networks, electrical installations, requirements for cable routes, means of protection short-circuit currents and overload currents for the need for reactive power compensation and techniques; - has knowledge of electricity generation, transmission and distribution; - has knowledge of modern electricity industry and electricity market; - is familiar with the field of energy, information transmission systems; - knows the basic concepts of electric lighting, illuminance levels; - knows the basics electric drives theory and basic operation methods; - knows industrial electrical equipment for machinery and electrical equipment for the purposes and uses of these control schemes; - knows the structure of the controller, the subject and the working principles of data interfaces, controllers, programming languages and basics of programming; - knows the elements and devices intended for automatic systems. | ||
