Module 'Construction Mechanics and Structures Design'

32 ECTS credits, 30 ECTS credits compulsory courses, 2 ECTS credits optional courses.

Objective:
to establish the fundamental knowledge of construction mechanics and designing structures.

Learning outcomes:
student
- is able to determine the stresses imposed on structures;
- is familiar with the fundamentals of buildings and facilities functioning as whole, and assuring the stability of these;
- knows the design standards, which are based on Eurocodes;
- can compile project drawings and explanatory reports.
